PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITY MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

The Town of Hilliard is seeking a highly motivated, qualified individual to fill the part-time position of Parks and Recreation Facility Maintenance Assistant. Work is performed under the administrative direction of the Parks and Recreation Director. Essential job functions include but are not limited to: Participating in the daily operation and maintenance of all the department facilities, responsible for cleaning and maintaining all facilities in the department, and supporting all Youth Sport Programs including Field Prep and Program Administration.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Experience in Sports Administration, scheduling, and officiating is preferred.

This is a part-time position that will be regularly scheduled to work at the discretion of the Parks & Recreation Director. While part-time positions do receive all legally mandated benefits (such as Social Security, Workers’ Compensation, and Florida Retirement Systems), they are ineligible for all the Town’s other benefit programs.
