Local State of Emergency and County-wide Burn Ban Issued by Nassau BOCC April 15th

Extreme Drought and Elevated Fire Danger Continue. Report all signs of smoke. Water Use Restrictions Ordered Statewide. No outdoor watering permitted between 10 am and 4 pm.  Watering is permitted only one hour per zone and one day per week - either Saturday (odd) or Sunday (even), depending on street address.

Current Outdoor Water Use Schedule

Houses with ODD numbered addresses - SATURDAY

Houses with EVEN numbered addresses - SUNDAY

Business/Non-residential properties - TUESDAY

Irrigation is limited to one day per week and no more than one hour per zone on your scheduled day.

No watering between 10 am and 4 pm.

Postpone new planting and gardens that would need more frequent watering.

No aesthetic water use (e.g., ponds, fountains)

Restrictions apply to all water sources, public and private utilities, private wells, pumps, and ground or surface water
